Menu allergen checker
Paste your menu, one dish per line. The checker looks for words that usually point to an allergen (“prawns” → crustaceans, “béchamel” → milk and gluten) in English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, French and more. It's a reminder so nothing obvious slips through, not a recipe analysis.
Honest limits
- It only sees the words you write. If the sauce contains mustard and the description doesn't say so, it won't catch it.
- It's deliberately cautious and may flag allergens your recipe doesn't have. Review every result.
- The official allergen list and the responsibility are yours. Record the result in the allergen matrix.
What happens to your text
It is sent to our server only to look up the words and is not stored. No AI is used here: it's the same curated dictionary MenuDoro uses to warn owners when they import a menu.
How it works
- Upload your menu as PDF, Excel or text (or send it to us and we upload it for free). Review it and publish.
- MenuDoro translates it into 10 languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Greek and Chinese.
- Print one QR code per table. Guests scan it with their camera, no app to download, and see the menu in their language.
- They order from their phone. The ticket reaches the kitchen screen in your language, with table and dishes in writing.
