Terms of Service

The rules for using MenuDoro, in plain words. Updated 2 October 2026.

1. The service

MenuDoro (menudoro.com) is software for restaurants: a digital menu, table QR ordering, a kitchen screen and related tools. The restaurant (the “owner”) uses it to show its menu and receive orders. MenuDoro is not a party to the sale between the restaurant and its guests.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 and act for a business. Give accurate details, keep your password and kitchen password private, and tell us if you suspect misuse. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the staff you give access to.

3. Plans and payment

The first month is free. After that a monthly or yearly plan is charged in advance through Stripe at the price shown when you subscribe (taxes as applicable). You can cancel any time in Plan & billing: the plan stays active until the end of the paid period and is not renewed. Paid periods are not refunded except where the law requires it. We will tell you at least 30 days before any price change; it applies from your next renewal.

Founding restaurant offer

Pay your first month or your first year today and get 2 extra months free. In return, we can name your restaurant as one of MenuDoro's founding restaurants. Monthly: you pay €79.90 today for month 1. Months 2 and 3 are free. From month 4 it's €79.90 (VAT included) a month. Yearly: you pay €598.80 today and get 14 months instead of 12. After that it renews at €598.80 (VAT included) a year. No free trial: the first month or year is charged today. If you are still in your free trial, the paid period starts now instead. The 2 free months are added as soon as the first payment goes through. You see the new date in Plan & billing. You can cancel any time in Plan & billing. Nothing more is charged and you keep MenuDoro until the end of the time you have, free months included. If the first payment is fully refunded or disputed, the founding place and the free months are cancelled. One place per restaurant, 20 places in total. It can't be combined with discount codes. Prices are the normal ones. What you give: Permission to show your restaurant's name, town and logo as a founding restaurant on menudoro.com and when we talk to other owners. A quote or a photo only if you approve it first. You can withdraw this at any time by writing to us; we remove it within 7 days and you keep your free months.

4. Your menu, allergens and content

You are responsible for everything you publish: dish names, descriptions, photos, prices and, above all, allergen and dietary information, which you must keep complete and up to date under Regulation (EU) 1169/2011 and local law. MenuDoro's automatic tools (menu import, translations, allergen suggestions, photo enhancement) are aids that can make mistakes. Review their output before publishing. Guest allergen filters only use the information you enter. You keep ownership of your content and give us the licence needed to host it and show it to your guests.

5. Guests and orders

MenuDoro passes orders from the table to your staff; it does not handle guest payments. The restaurant is responsible for the food, service, prices charged and any guest claims. Guests: dish and allergen information comes from the restaurant. If you have an allergy or intolerance, always confirm with the staff before ordering.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use MenuDoro for anything illegal, misleading or harmful; do not upload content you have no rights to; do not try to access other restaurants' data, overload the service, scrape data in bulk or get around its security or limits. We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules, after notice where reasonable.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep MenuDoro available and secure, but it is provided “as is”, without a guaranteed uptime. Short maintenance windows (usually late evening) and outages can happen. Keep a way to take orders without the app. We may improve or change features; if a change significantly reduces what you pay for, you may cancel.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, MenuDoro is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profit or lost orders), for incorrect information entered by the restaurant (including allergens), or for errors in automatic translations or suggestions you did not review. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent, gross negligence or personal injury caused by our fault.

9. Ending and your data

You can stop at any time. Cancel the plan and, if you wish, delete the account in Settings → Danger zone, which permanently deletes the restaurant and its data (see the Privacy notice). We may end or suspend the service for serious or repeated breaches or unpaid plans; if we close an account for reasons other than abuse, we will give reasonable notice.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell owners by email or in the panel at least 30 days before. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect. If a translation differs, the Spanish version prevails.

11. Law and contact

Contact (data controller for owner accounts): contact@menudoro.com

These terms are governed by Spanish law, without affecting mandatory rights you have where you are based. Questions or complaints: write to the address above. We answer owners within a few working days.
