Upload your menu and have it work first time

Use a CSV or an Excel file with clear columns. Guests can then say gluten-free or I want shrimp and the filters stay accurate.

5 steps

1
Download the template
Excel or CSV, in your language (below), plus a filled example menu. Every template has the same eight columns and imports the same way.
2
Fill your rows
Keep the header row and write one dish per row. Fill in the allergens so the guest filters are accurate.
3
Upload during setup or in the panel
Open Upload menu and choose your .csv or .xlsx file (or a PDF). No file? Paste or type the menu on the same screen.
4
Review and publish
Check names, prices, sections and allergens. Fix anything marked as uncertain. Publish to menu saves the dishes and translates them automatically. If you change a dish later, its translation updates by itself.
5
Test the filters like a guest
Open the guest menu and try: gluten-free, no fish, I want shrimp. Pasta and fish should disappear when excluded. If you ask for shrimp, you should only see dishes that really contain it.

Good and bad rows

Good
Mains,Garlic shrimp,"Shrimp, garlic, chili, white wine, olive oil",18.50,Shellfish,,,Yes

Name and ingredients mention shrimp, and allergen shellfish is set. “I want shrimp” finds it; “no shellfish” hides it.

Good
Mains,Spaghetti carbonara,"Spaghetti, guanciale, egg yolk, pecorino",14.50,"Gluten, Eggs, Milk",Meat,,Yes

Even if you forget gluten, “spaghetti” or “pasta” in the text already implies gluten for filters. Still, always mark allergens.

Bad
Mains,Salmon plate,Fish of the day,21,,,,Yes

No ingredients, no allergens. “no fish” might still catch “Salmon” from the name, but guests and kitchen stop trusting it. Always fill ingredients and allergens.

Bad
Mains,Seafood mix,Chef special,19,,,,Yes

Vague ingredients. With “I want shrimp” we cannot confirm it has shrimp, so the dish will not show, as it should.

Allergen keys (quick list)

gluten · dairy · eggs · fish · shellfish · nuts · soy · sesame · sulfites · alcohol

Tip: After import, test as a guest: gluten-free (pasta, pizza and tiramisu disappear), no fish (salmon disappears), and I want shrimp (only real shrimp dishes show).
