Do you run a restaurant, bar or café? MenuDoro is made for you — one digital menu for your tables, kitchen and guests.

Up and running in an afternoon

No technician, no new hardware. All you need is the menu you already have and a phone or tablet in the kitchen.

  1. Restaurant owner uploading his menu on a laptop

    Upload your menu

As a PDF or Excel file, or paste the text. It's translated into ten languages, and you can check anything before it goes live. Photos can wait: add them later from your panel, dish by dish.

  2. Table stand with the QR code for table 4

    Print one QR per table

Each table has its own, so every order arrives with the table number. The kitchen screen runs in the browser on a tablet, computer or phone.

  3. Cook taking a new order from the kitchen printer

    Guests order from the table

They choose, add notes and send. The kitchen sees the table, the dishes and the notes, in your language.

Anyone who'd rather order from a waiter still can. What goes away is explaining the menu with hand signals.

For the nights when half your tables speak another language

English, Spanish, German, French, Polish, Russian, Portuguese, Greek, Chinese and Italian. Guests pick their language and see the same dishes, prices and allergens you entered.

Friends ordering from their phones at the table

Whether they order in German or Polish, the ticket reaches the kitchen in your language.

  • Nobody has to play interpreter

Waiters stop explaining dishes with gestures and go back to serving, recommending and taking payment.

  • Fewer wrong orders

What the guest orders is what reaches the kitchen: table, dishes and notes, in writing.

  • Less chaos when it's full

Each table orders when it's ready instead of waiting to catch someone's eye. Guests can also ask for the bill from their phone.

Demo menu: look around as much as you like. No order is sent.

They say what they want. The menu listens.

Guests tap the microphone and say what they feel like, or what they can't eat, in their own language. Or they type it. The menu hides every dish that doesn't fit, allergens included, and keeps the rest in view.

“No gluten and no dairy.” Everything with gluten or milk in it disappears.

“I want fish.” Only the fish dishes are left.

“Something vegetarian.” Dishes with meat or fish are hidden.

Works in all ten languages. Guests can also tap a filter, and take it off with one tap.

Not everyone wants to catch a waiter’s eye

Plenty of diners are introverts, shy, or simply tired of small talk. With MenuDoro they browse, filter allergens and order from their phone — no waving, no raising their voice across a busy room. You keep the tables that used to leave hungry.

  • Order without the spotlight

They decide at their own pace, send the order when ready, and can ask for the bill from the same screen.

  • Staff stay for the warm moments

Waiters spend less time translating and repeating, and more time on the guests who do want a chat or a recommendation.

  • Allergens without the awkward talk

Filters hide what they can’t eat before they order — clearer for them, calmer for your team.

Allergens that guests and the kitchen can't miss

When you upload your menu, MenuDoro spots the 14 allergens required by law, plus alcohol, from each dish’s ingredients. You check it and add your own, like kiwi or peppers.

  1. Guests filter

They tap “gluten-free” or just say it, and dishes with gluten drop off the menu. Same for the rest, and for the ones you add: “no kiwi” works too.

  2. The kitchen gets a warning

If a table mentions an allergy, the ticket arrives with a clear warning and the guest's own words.

  3. You have the final say

What MenuDoro spots is a suggestion: you check it before it goes live. The menu reminds anyone with an allergy to confirm with the staff.

More Google reviews without asking at every table

When a guest asks for the bill on their phone, a short thank-you appears with a button that opens your Google listing to leave a review. They've just eaten and already have their phone in hand. It's the right moment.

About €470/month of staff time against €79.90/month for MenuDoro

How do we work that out?

Translating, explaining, repeating orders

Say 45 minutes per shift per waiter, with 2 waiters at €12 an hour all-in (adjust for your area).

In wages alone

0.75 h × €12 × 26 days × 2 waiters ≈ €470 a month.

Mistakes and stress

Dishes sent back because an order was misunderstood, allergies explained over the noise, tables waiting to order. It doesn't show up on any bill, but you feel it.

It's an estimate, not a promise. If your team spends even a little time translating every night, it pays for itself. And the first month is free, so you can see for yourself.

Five-star Google reviews, right after they pay.

Why I built this

I love food and restaurants. Travelling with my girlfriend — she’s allergic to fish — we kept hitting the same hole: not everyone understands allergens, and when you don’t speak the language it gets worse. She isn’t alone.

I’m a translator, I speak several languages, and I have friends who work in hospitality. In places like Spain, tourism is huge and staff often don’t speak much English. MenuDoro is my way to make dinner easier for guests who need clarity, and for the teams who look after them.

Common questions

Do guests need to download an app?

No. They scan the table QR with their camera and the menu opens in the phone's browser, already in their language.

Can I use my existing menu?

Yes. Upload it as a PDF or Excel file, or paste the text. Check the draft, publish, then change dishes and prices whenever you like. Photos of a printed menu won't work: use the file you print it from. You don't need links to dish photos either: add the photos later from your panel, dish by dish.

Is the first month really free?

Yes. Verify your phone number and you get 30 days free, no card needed. If you don't choose a plan, your menu is paused and nothing is charged. After that it's €79.90/month or €598.80/year (works out at €49.90/month, VAT included).

How are allergens shown?

You mark the 14 EU allergens on each dish, plus alcohol. MenuDoro flags any that seem to be missing, but you decide. Guests can hide dishes with allergens they avoid, and the kitchen ticket carries a warning when a table has an allergy. The menu reminds guests with a serious allergy to confirm with the staff.

Do I need special hardware or a till integration?

No. The kitchen screen runs in the browser on any tablet, computer or phone, and you print the QR codes on paper or stickers. MenuDoro works alongside your till. It doesn't replace it.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, in Plan & billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for and isn’t renewed. No contract, no setup fee and no extra charges: everything is included.
