How to add your restaurant menu to Google Maps
Many guests choose where to eat on Google Maps. If your menu isn't there, or an old photo uploaded by a customer is, you lose tables. All of this is free in your Google Business Profile.

1. Menu link
- In your Business Profile: Edit profile → Business information → Contact → Menu link. Paste the web address of your menu (for example your digital menu) and save.
- Use a link that always shows the current menu, so price changes don't need a Google update.
- Changes can take 24–48 hours to appear on Maps and Search.
2. Menu editor (dishes and prices)
- Food and drink businesses may get a menu editor to add sections, dishes, descriptions and prices directly on Google. It isn't available on every profile.
- If you use it, update it when prices change: Google doesn't sync it for you.
3. Menu and dish photos
Upload clear, current photos of the menu and your best-selling dishes. If guests have posted photos of an old menu, recent ones from you help the right one show.
4. Booking and ordering links
You can add links for reservations or food orders. Only add the ones you actually use.
Tip for tourist areas
If your digital menu is multilingual, one link serves everyone: a foreign guest opens it from Maps and reads it in their own language.
How it works
- Upload your menu as PDF, Excel or text (or send it to us and we upload it for free). Review it and publish.
- MenuDoro translates it into 10 languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Greek and Chinese.
- Print one QR code per table. Guests scan it with their camera, no app to download, and see the menu in their language.
- They order from their phone. The ticket reaches the kitchen screen in your language, with table and dishes in writing.
Frequently asked questions
- Does it cost anything to add a menu to Google?
- No. The Business Profile and the menu link are free.
- Why can't I see the menu option?
- The menu editor exists only for food and drink businesses and not on every profile; the menu link under Contact is the usual option.
- Can I link a PDF?
- Yes, but PDFs read badly on phones and must be re-uploaded after every change. A web menu reads better and stays current.
